The Cup

This essay was written in Halifax, NS, during the third period of Game 7 in June 2011. It's been through many iterations in the ten years since then. The Vancouver Canucks have still not won a Stanley Cup; the Canucks and the Buffalo Sabres are the oldest teams without that win.
